*Job Description:*

Use ETL process, data transformation, relational data base design, Perform
routine and ad hoc data extractions for internal and external clients,
create and deliver data extracts in a timely manner, and other analysis as
requested. Design, develop, test and implement complex business
intelligence solutions using SQL server tools. Mentor and assist less
experienced developers. Assist with the design, development and
implementation of complex ETL process and solutions. Additional
responsibilities include delivering routine information/data to internal
and external clients, assisting in the preparation & configuration of
EDI/data applications for new market implementations and/or existing
clients for various projects, and act as liaison for systems issues between
clients.

*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:*
•     Perform routine and ad hoc operational data extractions, maintenance
and updating functions
•     Prepare routine and ad hoc data extractions, ETL processes, reports,
and analysis summaries
•     Deliver routine member, provider, claim, etc. information/data to
internal and external clients as required
•     Test software for acceptance to the user environment
•     Research and design Electronic Data Interchange processes
•     Serve as technical resource for all department staff
•     Handle technical application development projects as assigned
•     Act as liaison for systems issues between DQ and clients
•     Perform new and existing client ETL/extract, set-up and maintenance
processes
•     Assist with departmental projects.
•     Train users on software applications

*Required Experience *

•     College degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline
preferred
•     3-5 years prior related technical and business experience required
•     3 years’ experience in designing, developing, testing and
implementing complex business intelligence reports using SQL server tools
•     3 years’ experience with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, SQL Server
Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL
Server Reporting Services (SSRS), T-SQL, C, C++, .Net Technologies,
Informatica, Windows 2000/2003
•     3 years’ experience in performance tuning SQL server objects like
stored procedures, functions.
•     3 years’ experience in identifying and resolving data integrity issues
•     3 years’ experience in providing reporting database design and
architecture solutions
•     Prior related experience in coordinating systems related projects
preferred.
•     Proficiency in the following technical concepts necessary
o     ETL software/architecture (SSIS, Informatica)
o     Healthcare/Insurance HIPAA EDI (837, 834, 999)
o     Exposure to .NET programming and .NET technologies
•     Experience with project management is plus

o     Excellent interpersonal skills
o     Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
o     Ability to remain organized with multiple interruptions
