*Need MYSQL DBA in Englewood Cliff, NJ* *Duration: 1 year Contract.* *Basic Qualifications (Desired):* · Masters in an Information Technology related field · Oracle Certification for MySQL Performance Tuning, Cluster and High Availability. · Ten or more years of detailed technical experience in IT · Five or more years of in-depth experience in SQL database design, development and administration in enterprise production environment including server installation, configuration, upgrade, maintenance, performance tuning, optimization, backup/restore, recovery, migration, monitoring, security planning, problem solving and trouble-shooting · Two or more years of experience as a design engineer and system administrator for MySQL database configured in LAMP environment with experience in following-up infrastructure / network issues *Technical Qualifications (Desired):* Expertise with: · Clustering, MySQL 5.0, 5.1, 5.5, replication with F5 HA, Linux Heartbeat, DR plan, and data center setup · Design/architect builds from scratch for MySQL. · 24/7 on call support for MySQL · Installation, configuration, patching and upgrading of MySQL servers. · DB administration and performance tuning (query optimization, index tuning, caching and buffer tuning etc). · Working with M360 monitoring system, Site scope monitoring and other tools including MONyog · Design and Implement various DB backup/recovery strategies · Replication with master and multi-layer slaves setup · Coding Scripts, Procedures, functions, etc. · MySQL Profiling. · MySQL implementation, build, migration and maintenance for Dev, QA, Staging, Prod · Cluster designing, installation, administration and configuration. · Disaster recovery implementation and log shipping. · Security solution implementations. · Monitoring, tuning and trouble-shooting in production environments to meet the performance and availability requirements. · Full/partition/log backups. · Creating and modifying database structures including tables, indexes, stored procedures, views, triggers, user- defined functions, SQL agent jobs as well as disk configuration and storage allocation to support application enhancements · Performing user requests such as backup/restore, grant access permission, and revise/tuning T-SQL statement. · Creating logical and physical database design, data structures, and implementing large databases. · Creating / Customizing daily/weekly maintenance plan for all environments including database consistency check, index defragment and index rebuild *Basic Qualifications:* · In-depth experience with Leadership and Mentoring · Excellent technical communication skills (oral and written) and experience with managing review and maintenance of system documentation · Expertise with intra-organizational communication Excellent problem solving skills. · Strong customer service orientation · Install mysql percona/community/enterprise version 5.1/5.5/5.6 · Work with F5 team to setup mysql HA solution · Setup mysql master->slave replication and multi-layers of master-slave replication or multi-slaves. · Setup mysql maintenance jobs and tuning mysql performance. · Linux hands on experience and basic Linux administration works. · MONyog/M360/Icinga installation/configuration/monitoring · Basic knowledge about php/drupal/memcache installation of modules, configurations and trouble shooting. · MongoDB and MySQL trouble shooting and percona toolbets and extrabkp installation/configuration -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
