*Need Technical Architect (Java/J2EE) in Alpharetta, GA for 12+ Months* *Job Title:* *Technical Architect (Java/J2EE)-Portal Applications* *Location: Alpharetta, GA* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Job description:* · Must Have Strong background in *Java development Java 1.4 and above Java Portlet development.* · Strongly Desired *Websphere Portlet Factory 6.1.5 (strong).* · Web development background with JSPs, Servlets. · Websphere Portal 6.1 and above RAD 7.5 (Rational Application Developer). · Web services XML, AJAX, Javascript, HTML Websphere Application Server, Websphere Portal, Mobile Portal Accelerator. · Provide end-to-end technical architecture assistance and guidance for a major initiative at client site. · The initiative is centered around a WebSphere Portal application that also involves the use of BPM tools such as ActiveVos. · The role requires providing mentoring and technical assistance to developers, hands-on trouble-shooting, identifying gaps in the existing framework, direction-setting of application design, providing consultation and recommendations to Client management. · Experience with Web UI architecture is a key skill set to have. · In addition to having strong technical skills, the candidate must be an effective communicator and able to confidently present ideas to other architects and senior management. *Must-Have Skills (in order of priority):* · Strong experience leading the design and implementation of Portal applications. · Experience with Web UI architecture. · Strong Communication skills. · Trouble shooting and problem solving. · Experience with developing frameworks and standards.
