*Job Description*
Opportunity for an experienced and talented UI/UX Designer to join a
versatile, strategic and entrepreneurial team. The right candidate will be
a talented high-performer who is able to hit the ground running – applying
skill and experience to optimize the digital user experience.
This position will be focused on digital user experience as it relates to
the mobile applications, portal and report emails – implementing current
and innovative best practices for user interface and design.
*Job Responsibilities*
- Work closely with creative and marketing teams to develop designs and
requirements
- Set, track and report on meaningful metrics to evaluate success
- Adhere to corporate guidelines and standards
- Translate Product requirements into easy to use, attractive,
intuitive, and scalable user interfaces for both web and mobile projects
- Produce interaction designs from back-of-the-napkin all the way
through to wireframes and clickable prototypes
- Collaborate with UX Designers, GUI Engineers, and Product Managers to
translate requirements and ideas into rock-solid and scalable UI
- Partner with marketing and development teams to iterate in fast paced
design build cycles
- Stay ahead of the curve in technological advances and GUI practices
and trends
*Qualifications*
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience – in a UI/UX design role
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in prototyping and wireframe tools (e.g. Balsamiq,
ProtoShare, etc.)
- Experience with usability testing
- Proficient in HTML5 / CSS / WordPress / iOS / Android
- Obsessed with pixels, colors, typography and establishing style guides
- Has a passion for creating simple, intuitive product experiences
- Strong experience in User Interface / User Experience design for
mobile applications for iOS and/or Android (bonus if you’ve worked both iOS
and Android applications)
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principals and methodologies
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Experience creating wireframes, using prototyping tools such as:
Axure, Omnigraffle, Proto.IO or any other tool
- Required: A portfolio of UI/UX design work for iOS and/or Android
mobile applications
- Familiarity with web analytics and tracking methodologies
- Effectively collaborate with experts and other content contributors to
achieve high-quality deliverables
- Self-starter demonstrating excellent time management, problem solving
and organizational skills; adapting quickly to changing priorities
- Strong understanding of online consumer behavior
- Strong understanding of digital marketing campaign methodologies and
principles with a focus on exceptional user experience and lead conversion
(e.g. PPC/SEO, social, email, paid media, etc.)
