Role : Java Developer
Location :St. Louis Park, MN
Duration : 6+ Months
Rate : $70/hr

We are recruiting for two contract (6+month) Java Developers positions.
The Developers must have experience developing desktop applications
using Java 1.4 (preferably using Swing). The client's system is running
on a legacy version of Java and they need someone familiar with the
features and limitations of this version of Java. You will be part of a
healthy strong team culture with exceptional leadership.
This resource should also have experience interfacing from a Java
desktop application with serial and parallel devices, along with windows
printer devices. The developer should have experience with XML and
integrating with web services. Preferred experience with AT command sets
is nice to have, but not required.

Experience_*:
· A minimum of 7-10 years of increasingly responsible systems
development experience on multiple platforms. Clearly demonstrated
ability to: Effectively leads requirements gathering, design and
development of complex systems; design and develop high quality,
scalable and efficient solutions and products on schedule, required.
· A minimum of 5-7 years experience in the development environment
commensurate with the assigned area of responsibility, required.
· Required experience developing with: Developing desktop application
with Java 1.4, XML, integration with SOAP service layer
· Required experience controlling devices over serial and parallel ports
· Preferred developing modem communication using AT command set
· Preferred experience developing with RAD, or equivalent of Eclipse
required
· Preferred experience developing with: Hibernate SQL
· Preferred experience using packaging tools, specifically Inno (Wise
Installer and InstallShield equivalent)
· Debugging using stack trace analysis preferred
