*.Net Application Developer* *Kansas-Overland Park* *Target Assessed Level: Systems Engineer IV* *Only Citizens & GC, preferred locals* *Scope of Work: Description: * This position will be responsible for development and maintenance of tools crucial to the efficient service assurance of a large wireless carrier’s network. A high level of innovative thinking and execution is required. A good understanding of wireless network technologies and voice/data call flows will benefit the successful candidate. Strong communication skills are a must. *Responsibilities: * · Create tools to assist in monitoring and assessing new systems & technologies. · Design and implement software programs to gather and report end-to-end performance data to quantify customer experience or network performance. · Independently design and implement mechanized systems to perform end-to-end tests, gather and process test results, and display end-to-end customer perception of customer's wireless or wire line network. · Design and implement databases to store historical network data for analyzing patterns in network performance. · Work one-on-one with network operations centers to identify their needs and create tools for proactively detecting network problems with CDMA and LTE networks. · Ensure that network integrity, as it relates to subsystems, is maintained through effective software design and practices. · Develop user friendly intranet websites that effectively and intuitively present collected information to a diverse audience. • Automate processes using software tools and scripts. · Participate in latest technology research applicable to meet new business challenges. *Qualifications: Skills, Experience and Education: * · Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or foreign academic equivalent) plus 1 year of related experience or a Computer Science Degree with at least 5 years of experience. · Visual Studio /.NET 2.0 or .NET 3.0 development experience with strong ASP.NET fundamentals. · Strong experience in other web related technologies (ex. JSP, PHP will also be considered. · Strong software experience with some or all of the following technologies C#,VB.NET,C, C++, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, SQL SERVER 2005, SQL SERVER 2008, AJAX, HTML, Java Script. · Strong web fundamentals which include AJAX and Java Script experience. · Install, maintain and resolve complex application & system issues for Linux/Windows systems. · Must have proven relational database experience with SQL Server 2005/2008, Transact SQL and general database objects ( Tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, Jobs, triggers) · Comprehensive proven track record in Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processing. · Strong understanding and implementation of Object Oriented Concepts. · Experience developing components and web services · Must work well in a team environment and be willing to participate in code reviews. · Must be able to communicate (verbally and documentation) complex concepts to developers/engineers and non-technical teammates. · Have the ability to multi-task and quickly change priorities based on changing business requirements. · Willing to be trained in client processes, methods and tools to gain experience. · Also participate in mentored, practical experiences to expand his or her client’s knowledge. · Plusses o Knowledge on wireless technologies. o Microsoft Certification o Experience in Perl *Kind Regards* *Soumya Kota* |Object Technology Solutions, Inc.
