*Job Title: SAP Business Objects Admin* *Location: Dallas, TX* *Duration: 3 months plus possible ext* *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *Start Date: ASAP* This person has to have BO Admin experience. They do not have this experience on the team so they need someone to come in and guide the team and let them know what to do. (“Expert / Guru level”). They are going from Windows to a Linux virtual server environment. They need to be able to tune servers in BO and upgrade and load reports onto server. *Tool Sets:* - SAP Business Objects administration in 3.1 - 4.1 in Windows - Linux environment *Job Description:* The person filling this position shall be skilled and experienced in installing, configuring, and managing the SAP Business Objects version 4.1 application running on a Linux VM server platform. Additionally, this person shall act as an advisor/mentor to FTE staff to improve their knowledge and on-going management of application. *Activities/Task:* - Activities will include, but not limited to, assisting with application installation, application server tuning, implementation of best practices, application customization, security, monitoring and application server management. - The objective of this position is to improve the working knowledge of FXO BO system administration personnel to insure a quality roll-out of Business Objects 4.1 and for FXOBO system administration staff to provide quality application management going forward. - Resource will be skilled with the full Business Objects 4.1 suite; Linux/UNIX based operating systems, Virtual Server environments, and strong communication skills. - Knowledge of WebLogic would be an additional benefit.
