Duration: 6+ Months Need to have 10+ Years of experience Short Description: PeopleFirst to PeopleSoft Application Conversion Developer Complete Description: The Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is undertaking a project to convert PeopleFirst application to PeopleSoft HCM Payroll version 9.0. OCTO is seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Conversion Analyst/Developer consultant to serve on the Project Team. The consultant will be responsible for delivering at minimum, the following activities and deliverables: • Meet with Functional Lead, PeopleFirst Technical Lead and relevant Subject Matter Experts to review information regarding current PeopleFirst system (source for data conversion) and business processes • Perform and document data analysis • Perform and document data mapping between PeopleFirst system and PeopleSoft HCM • Document Functional and Data Conversion Requirements including data sources, types of data • Identify and document the most efficient and cost effective approach to data conversion, the level of effort to perform the conversion and the resources to convert the data • Develop programs and tools to perform data extraction from PeopleFirst system and staging data for conversion • Perform data cleansing, data testing and data loading activities • Create test files and prepare test cases with expected results • Run batch test jobs and review test output and if necessary program corrections and re-test • Identify data errors,, error correction for inconsistencies, missing data, alignment of data conversion and bridging • Plan and execute data conversion • Identify data that falls out and document solution to resolve data fail out issues • Reconcile and balance converted data, with acceptable tolerances Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating PeopleSoft Integration and Conversion Experience Required 5 Years 3 - Expert Experience with conversion / interface testing (system and regression) Required 5 Years 2 - Proficient Experience with user acceptance testing of interfaces Required 5 Years 2 - Proficient Experience to deply new conversion / interface platform into production Required 5 Years 2 - Proficient Experiecen with state, local or Federal government HR practices Required 2 Years 2 - Proficient Experiece with transfer of knowledge to the client personnel Required 5 Years 2 - Proficient Experience with documentation of conversion / integration architecture design Required 3 Years 2 - Proficient Experience working as PeopleSoft SME Required 5 Years 2 - Proficient Experience with fit-gap analysis and review Required 5 Years 2 - Proficient Experience with design and development of IT systems Required 10 Years 2 - Proficient PeopleSoft HCM Required 7 Years 3 - Expert People Tools HCM 9.0 or higher Required 3 Years 2 - Proficient PeopleSoft HR Required 7 Years 3 - Expert PeopleSoft Payroll for North America Required 4 Years 2 - Proficient PeopleTools (CI, App. Engine, SQR, IB, People Code, App. Designer) Required 8 Years 3 - Expert Oracle Database including 11G, SQL Required 6 Years 3 - Expert -- Thanks and Regards *Jaya Chandra* IT Recruiter [image: Description: Description: http://hireitpeople.com/templates/assignin_v1/images/logo.jpg] Tel: (202) 719-0200 Ext: 101 *[email protected] <[email protected]>* http://www.hireitpeople.com *http://www.FaceBook.Com/hireitpeople <http://www.facebook.com/hireitpeople>* *Gtalk:*chandrarecruiter0 *Ytalk:*chandra_recruiter *Skype: *jaya.chandra44 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
