The candidate in question will be required to take a prove it TEST to show they are actually capable of performing the tasks. Our current consultant in this position is way more Jr. than expected and is going to be let go. Interview Process: Need to complete a Prove it Test from us first, then it will be a phone interview *Responsibilities:* Develop, debug and maintain E-App application using VB.Net. Expected to be able to work independently on tasks, but will take direction from Senior Developers, Project Managers and Management. Collaborate with other developers in a team atmosphere to deliver a complete project from start to finish. Participate in entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to production and support. Monitor errors and logs in order to investigate, respond, and fix issues as they arise. Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends in the .Net technologies. *Qualifications:* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. 5+ years programming experience using VB.Net. Excellent scoping, estimation, and testing/QA skills. Understanding of compiled languages, specifically VB.Net. Knowledge of various UI platforms including WPF/Win Forms/Web. Familiarity with MVVM and MVC etc. Strong knowledge of XML and Xpath. Strong code analysis skills. Strong understanding of OO programming and design patterns. Understanding of dependency injection and repositories. Experience working on large 300K plus lines of code projects. Strong maintenance experience with various applications some 10+ years old. Good understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, XML, and Ajax. Familiar with SQL Server Query Language as well as stored procedures. Ability to multi-task and practice good time management skills, both individually and as part of a team.
