*Role*: Windows Media Software Engineer

*Location*: Hillsboro, OR

*No*: *of* *Positions*: 2

*Experience* *Level*: 3-5 years

*Type*: Contract – 6 Months +

*Rate*: $50/hr



*Job description*:

• In this position, the candidate will be designing, developing and
delivering multimedia features supporting different Video Conference
(webRTC & IR94) and Wireless Display technologies for Windows systems.

• Integrating SW stacks and the hardware platform.

• Driving end to end integration and product quality release of all the
uses cases.

• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve all software and platform related issues
and ensure their closure at the respective debug forums.



*Skills:*

 • Demonstrated product development experience.

• Demonstrated software engineering practices such as design,
documentation, prototype, code, and developer level testing.

• Ability to analyze and break down problems. Experience in Windows Media
Foundation.

• Demonstrated mastery of C/C++ and Windows based OS system level
programming.

• Demonstrated mastery of object-oriented software design.

• Must have solid development experience on various Media formats,
H.264/AVC, Media Frameworks, Media Foundation and Windows phone experience.

• Demonstrated working knowledge on streaming protocols such as
RTP/RTSP/HTTP.

• Comfortable programming at the middleware and device driver level and
working on Windows.

• Miracast, Browser Acceleration, HTML5 and video conferencing experience.

• Good team player, assertive, self-starter with a can-do-attitude and good
communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.

• Solid understanding of Intel architecture, and capabilities would be an
added advantage - particularly around Intel ATOM(TM).
