Job Description:Position: RPG Developer*Location: Lewisville, TX*

*Summary: *
The RPG ILE/DBE (Database Engineer) Developer provides application and
database architecture and design, and maintenance for Loan Servicing
Projects. They will also participate in discovery sessions with members of
the user community to diagnose problems and/or to gain a better
understanding or requested enhancements. They will also document business
requirements and translate them into technical designs.

*Responsibilities:*
·         Application development and maintenance to existing systems on a
variety of technical platforms.
·         Participate in systems design sessions with users and business
analysts to develop complete specifications that consider impacts to all
application systems and databases.
·         Assist the application support desk team in troubleshooting and
resolving application system errors.
·         Participate in programmer on call rotation during and after
business hours.
·         Identifies and pursues opportunities associated with new and
evolving technologies and their ability to impact the business.
·         Maintains a high level of personal commitment and accountability
to the business with a focus on quality and customer service.
·         Ability to work in a team environment, and communicate in a
positive manner to team members, peers, customers, and external vendor
·         Provide regular time tracking and project feedback data as
requested.




Job Requirements: *Required Skills:*
·         10+ years of programming experience in RPG and CL in an AS/400
environment.
·         5-7 years of Systems integration, AS400 systems and security
support, SQL, DB2 database concepts.
·         Demonstrated knowledge and use of all aspects of ILE.
·         Fluent with creation and use of binding directories, binder
source, prototypes, prototype interfaces, private and public procedures,
appropriate activation group usage, service programs, and linear modules.
·         Strong DB2 for i database experience.
·         Fluent in all aspects of DB2 and i SQL (DDL, DML, PSM). Strong
understanding of data centric architecture, design, programming,
performance, and VLDB.
·         Software/DB modernization, analysis, design, and construction.
Utilization of modern DB, modular, and OO concepts and patterns.
·         RPG III/IV/ILE/400/FREE/Imbedded SQL, Procedures, Service
Programs, Linear Modules, Unit of Work and Commitment/Transaction Control
·         DB2 for i SQL (DDL, DML, PSM, UDT, UDF, UDTF, Triggers,
Constraints, Partitioned tables, Isolation levels)
·         Software/DB modernization, analysis, design, and construction
including utilization of modern DB, OO, and modular software concepts and
patterns.
·         Knowledge of CL

*Preferred Skills:*
·         COBOL 400/ILE, FTP, Secured FTP, PGP, XML, SOAP, WSDL,
Webservices, UML.
·         5+ years of experience in an IT role within Financial Services
Industry preferably Mortgage Servicing is preferred.
·         Experience with LSAMS Servicing System is a plus.
·         Experience with the following web development languages is a
plus: PHP, HTML Javascript, AJAX, XML, SOAP, WSDL, and Zend Framework v1/v2.
