*Position:- Performance Test Engineer * *Duration:- 8+ Months * *Location:- Fremont, CA* *Interview process:- Telephonic + Skype* Global Logic is looking for experienced software quality engineers to join our team. You will have a good background in Python, a good fundamental understanding of testing processes and procedures, good investigative and debugging skills, a good background in Linux with scripting and a decent knowledge of Linux setup, administration, and command line options. You will be working closely with diverse development teams in various locations around the world. *Required* *• Minimum 5 years experience with Performance/Load testing automation. * *• Minimum 5 years experience with linux OS * *• In depth knowledge of Jmeter and could recommend other performance tools * *• Strong knowledge of browser engines, HTML 5, CSS3, Ajax, JSON, etc. * *• A background in Programming/ System Analysis, and Integration functions is important. * *• Must have high level of energy, creativity to solve complex problems, and possess leadership capabilities. * *• Hands on Python test automation scripting. * • Experience with both Whitebox, Grey Box, and Black Box testing. • Excellent general QA skills like test plan creation, test case development, Defect analysis and reporting, test automation using Python, Java Script, Selenium, Jmeter, SoapUI, other. • Hands on experience with tools like Jira, Jenkins, Git, Stash, Confluence, etc. • Experience with Agile/Scrum • Strong experience with system analysis, understanding design and functional requirements and specifications. • Ability to design and build test automation frameworks from scratch. • Excellent knowledge of formal SDLC, and QA methodologies • Strong Selenium, Java Script, SoapUI, Browser experience *Preferred* • *Prior Experience tuning video applications on handheld devices is a definite plus. * • Experience with Payment Terminals and Mobile applications would be a definite plus. • Software development background is a big plus.
