*Job Title* QA Tester *Project Location* Philadelphia, PA *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI Telephone+Face2Face* *Job Overview:* The Quality Assurance Analyst evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures that are used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines. *Responsibilities:* • Conducts compatibility tests with vendor provided programs and runs in depth testing, diagnoses problems, recommends solutions, and determines if program requirements have been met. • Recommends program improvements or corrections to programs. • Writes, revises and verifies quality standards, use cases, test cases and test procedures for both program design and product evaluation using the QA Remedy suite and Microsoft Office. • Reviews new modified programs including documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines. • Writes and revises documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction, and may train/support users on new functionality/applications. • Will document problems, list out possible solutions, and seek out management to help formulate a decision. • Performs QA activities within guidelines of the project plan and time requirements. • Executes various test types with in time allotted and will inform the Project Manager and QA Manager of any delays. *Requirements*- *at least 1 year with Selenium ( Web base testing )* • Knowledge of Quality Assurance standards, methodologies and processes used during all testing phases. • Must be able to create detailed test plans that are usable by anyone regardless of application knowledge. • Must be able to write and communicate issues in a timely manner to the Project Manager and the QA manager. • Performs all tasks assigned and motivated to ask for additional assignments. • Uses time efficiently and continuously will work to develop updated test plans. • Previous Web Testing experience is preferred, but not required. • Experience with test automation is a plus. • Experience with relational databases is a plus. • Experience with testing web services is a plus. • Experience with Agile and Waterfall is a plus. • Knowledge of a few Pep Boys applications is a plus. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
