Title: Technical Support Analyst
Location: Louisville, KY
Duration: 6 moontths

Need minimum 3 years of experience.

Description:

Technical Support Analyst is the primary point of contact for clients
experiencing technical problems performing their daily tasks.  Responsible
for monitoring the health of our IT infrastructure and applications and
taking corrective action when needed to minimize any interruption of
service to our clients.  Technical support analyst is required to have a
basic understanding of all LKE platforms, data center facilities,
applications, monitoring tools, and mobile devices. Must demonstrate
experience in technical troubleshooting and other IT areas.

Skill Set Requirements and Capabilities:

 Demonstrated technical aptitude, customer service, and communications
skills.  A successful academic or work background indicating a demonstrated
ability to absorb information, apply conceptual skills in practical
applications, achieve desired results in a highly technical, operating
environment. Must effectively deal with the rapid technological and
business change while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment
and common sense.  Incumbent must also work to achieve a basic
understanding of the different lines of business to better understand the
needs of the clients.

Technical skills should include PC proficiency, network, and Microsoft
operating system troubleshooting skills in an enterprise multiplatform
environment.  Should have basic working knowledge and troubleshooting
experience with Microsoft Office suite of products, mobile devices (phones,
tablets, etc.), and wireless access. Experience with remote network access
methodologies, including administration of remote access systems utilizing
a VPN or VDI, secured by RSA security products preferred.

Special Requirements:

 This position requires shift work, including weekends and holidays to
support over 3,000 employees across the Company’s service territory.

Level of Experience:

 Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field is
recommended along with relevant certifications and 1-3 years’ experience.
Previous experience in an IT support/desktop environment preferred and
knowledge of ITIL concepts is recommended.

Required Certification:

  Preferred certifications include, A+, Help Desk Institute Service Center
Analyst (HDI-SCA), Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or other relevant
IT certifications.
