Location: Sunnyvale, CA Duration: 6-12+months. Job Description: • Design, Implement and Test User Interfaces based on cutting-edge UI technologies • Team characteristics are fast paced, driven for innovation, diverse areas of expertise, demographically spread out • Participate in all aspects of Product Dev lifecycle from requirements to design reviews to product release • Provide high quality input to overall User Experience: User Interface Layouts, Interaction Design, Workflow analysis, Usability, and Visual Design • Deliver design specs • Provide accurate and creative solutions to technical issues • Provide high quality input to Architectural discussions • We'll be depending on you to creatively develop solutions to complex problems and to propose interesting and innovative technological directions for the group • You will be required to use your fluent knowledge on a variety of current and emerging technologies as well as your seasoned leadership experience on major projects teams to lead the development of industry leading products in the Data Center Automation Space. • Apply advanced technical knowledge in multiple areas to understand and improve current products. • Work with peers in other groups to define software standards, explore new technologies and integrate Configuration Management product technology strategy with other technologies. • Work with the managers and other peers in determining best use of team resources, including schedules and resource allocation. • Work with the product team to assess feasibility and priority of features and upgrades. • Ability to lead and participate on empowered virtual teams to deliver iteration deliverables and manages projects within scope of responsibility. • Guide and mentor software developers • Interact with customers and partners to solve critical software problems or issues • At least 7+ years with OOP and User Interface Implementations • At least 5+ years development of multi-tier web application and client/server apps • At least 5+ years with JDK, Java Swing, jdbc, XML and Webservices • At least 1+ years of Flex 2 or Flex 3 and Action Script 3 experience • At least 5+ years of delivering enterprise quality, complex products • At least 2+ years of SQL and databases experience • Proven experience in Interface layout, Usability and Visual Design reflected through portfolio/work samples • Expert Prototyping skills • BS/MS (CS preferred) with minimum 6+ years of product engineering experience and/or a proven track record of delivering high quality commercial enterprise products. • Knowledge of Human Factors or related HCI disciplines • Knowledge of designing and implementing custom components in UI frameworks • Knowledge of object-relational persistence solutions • Experience with multi-site teams, including interfacing with offshore development • Knowledge of Data Models • Experience in lower level graphics rendering is a plus • Knowledge of ITIL Thanks and Regards, *Andy* Resource Manager *West Coast Consulting* <http://www.westcoastllc.com/>1400 Quail Street Suite 150 <http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1400+Quail+Street++%2CSuite+150%2CNewport+Beach%2CCalifornia+92660%2CUSA&hl=en>Newport Beach, California 92660 USA *Work:* 949-743-0065 Ext. 208 *Fax:* 714 844 9091 *Email:* [EMAIL PROTECTED] *IM:* andy_westcoastll (Yahoo) *Professional Profile* <http://www.linkedin.com/pub/4/2bb/917> --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-USA" group.
