If you have a consultant, please send resume with contact info. *Skills Must Have:* * * · Possess advanced understanding of networking devices · A working knowledge of chassis based Switch solutions (ProCurve, Foundry, Cisco preferred). · Understanding of Spanning Tree, including Standards (802.1d, 802.1s, 802.1w) and PVST · Proficient in IP routing, including OSPF and BGP · Experience using IPSec VPNs and Tunneling technology · Experience configuring WAN connections such as T1, DSL, DS3 · Experience configuring WAN routers (Cisco, ProCurve preferred) · Working knowledge of Linux · Some understanding of WiFi technology · Troubleshooting Skills · Understanding of TCP protocols and OSI layers · Experience in Network Design · Ability to estimate task duration and deliver on commitments. · Ability to develop and communicate designs, strategies, tactics, and schedules. · Test plan development and execution experience. · Self-starter, motivated, independent with strong work ethics. · Ability to lead as well as work in a team. *Wants* · A theoretical understanding of IPv6 · Experience with Traffic Generators (preferably Ixia) · Knowledge of VoIP technologies including SIP. · Experience using Network Management tools *Other duties* : Ability to successfully interact with 3rd party test and development partners. Participation on cross-functional project teams.
