Job Description:
Perform design and planning activities on Windows Systems. This will
include designing and documenting client solutions as well as providing
guidance and procedural direction. Work with field level Windows personnel
providing technical expertise and guidance.
Skills and experience:
- Extensive Citrix engineering experience, including installation
and configuration, applications integration, maintenance
and support, and
security management.
- Design and support of a large-scale Windows server environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Terminal Services and Citrix Access
Suite technologies
- Product expertise on Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and 4.0,
Web Interface, and Secure Gateway
- Windows Server 2003/2000 expertise
- Comprehensive background in software and hardware
installation, upgrade, configuration, and support
- Ability to establish and communicate standards, maintenance,
and upgrade procedures for hardware, firmware, and software
- Experienced with HP ProLiant DL, ML, and BL class servers
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2000/R2/x64, Active
Directory, MS Virtual Server, SMS, MOM, McAfee/ePO, WTS, Citrix
PS 4.0/XenApp 4.5/50, Citrix Secure Gateway, VMWare, RDP
- Understanding of IIS, single sign-on technologies, web portal
integration, and application packaging
- Knowledge of network protocol analysis and troubleshooting
(TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, SNMP)
- Load Balancing
- Firewall, IPSEC/SSL VPN integration
- Intermediate - Good organizational skills. Team player.
Strong written and oral communication skills****
Education:
College Degree - Preferred
Major preference: Computer Science
