*Qualifications:*
Minimum 5 years of current technology based information security experience.
Proficiency in host
based security on Windows is required including Active Directory, etc...
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent
work experience required. Proficient in the areas of networking, firewalls
and web-based applications. Experience in technical investigations,
incident response and forensics; member of an incident response team.
Experience in system administration and troubleshooting Windows host
systems. Demonstrated analytical skills, with emphasis on aligning
technology to business objectives. Effective oral and written communication
skills demonstrated in both individual and group settings; ability to
present sound arguments in a concise, persuasive manner*.*
Security related certification preferred

Description: *
The Security Engineer will participate in analysis and design of systems
that are compliant with security
policies and standards. The analysis will include reviewing network
diagrams and traffic patterns
internally as well as externally. A firm understanding of networking as
well as host systems is necessary.
The position will be responsible for developing technical security
standards.
Other duties include:
Performing vulnerability assessments and recommending system changes with
system administrators and business owners
Participation in research and strategic development of new trends and
technologies
Involvement in security related investigations
Participating in project meetings
Acting as an overall technical security resource for Comerica.
