AZ 6 Months Hourly Rate is DOE (Be Competative )* *Job Description:-* *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-* Role Provides database development for *Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle. * Provides input to improve upon current processes and/or developed systems. Interact withs *project managers*, *business analysts*, and other developers in order to accomplish assignments. Assists in the creation of requirements definition, *analysis, design, testing, and related documentation. * Provide leadership during the development process, as necessary. Provides leadership in the development of procedures, tool, and standards. Experience with *UML and Use Case Development.* *Major Duties & Responsibilities:-* Ability to perform database installation, design, development, and maintenance (*SQL, Oracle*) (creating tables, indexes, queries, stored procedures, reports, performance tuning, and replication). Understanding of and proven use of development process and methodologies. Ability to test in all phases of development .Ability to perform code reviews with other *database developers.* Understanding and proven development within a *3-tier architecture.* *Expectations:-* 1.Complete work in a timely manner 2.Develop and maintain relationships with internal clients and other departments 3.Actively apply newly acquired skills in their daily work 4.*Escalate *for support and guidance, as necessary 5.Act as a point of escalation as technical issues arise 6.Provide on-call support within the pager rotation and as needed outside of the rotation *Competencies: -* Ability to work individually or in a team environment. Ability to accept and provide constructive feedback. Ability to communicate in a non-technical format, as needed. *Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in a Technical related Field; five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. *Computer Skills:-* To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of *Microsoft Outlook* Contact* Management systems*; *Microsoft Access Database software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet* software and *Microsoft Word *Word Processing software. Experience with *Visio, Share Point, SQL*, and *Vault preferred*; Expert knowledge of one object language such as *Java, C++, or C#*; Expert knowledge of *XML, XSLT *and related *technologies /standar*ds;* Microsoft SQL databases.* *Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: MCDBA Preferred* *Other Skills and Abilities:-* Ability to remain organized in spite of high demand.
