I really appreciate for your time and help Role: Senior Siebel Administrator Location: Danbury, CT Duration: 6 + MONTHS IMP: Communication 10/10 required Job description: ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for development and maintaining a Siebel CRM system including knowledge of Siebel Admin tasks including but not limited to: * Transaction Router. Processor and Merger, Siebel Components such as the gateway, Batch Assignment manager, Re-extracting Databases. * Importing workflows and implementing SRFs. * Guide the development team in areas related to Siebel Architecture. * Will be a point of contact between the development team and the other technical teams. * Interact with different groups of Infrastructure (Server, Network, Database, Security, and Data Center etc) to manage Siebel environments. * Co-ordinate with Business team and application team during testing and system activities . * Manage all Siebel environments (Development, QA, Staging, Replication and Production). * Manage migration effort between different environments. * Perform upgrades and new implementations of Siebel. * Assist in release deployment and migration planning. * Work with Siebel Expert Services and Database Administrators to tune the application for performance. * Work with the Integration Team during Data Loads to improve the performance of data loads. * Interface directly with users to provide quick resolution to critical support issues. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Installing, Uninstalling and Managing Siebel Servers (Web, Application, Gateway, Siebel Database Servers, Actuate and Remote Servers). * Siebel 7.8.X items such as workflow, assignment manager, tools, scripting, business services, EAI, and EIM. * Set up and Configure Security Adaptors (ie, ADSI for authentication). * Managing Siebel repositories and carrying our repository migrations. * Working with the DBA to setup and configure the database (Oracle) for Siebel Installation and trouble free running of the application. * Maintaining various server components, ie transaction processors, transaction routers, object managers, etc. * Monitoring Server Processes and performance. * Perform database refresh with help of DBA, ie restoring servers and database from backups. * Interpreting Indexes, effect of indexes on the performance of the system and performance tuning. * High Availability, Clustering of Servers. * Application deployment planning and execution. * Off hour support. * Understanding of Siebel Analytics. * Environment setup. * Repository and web catalog migration. * Understand concepts of Siebel EAI and Siebel data interface. * Understand hardware architectures (e.g., servers, memory, I/O subsystems, tape backups, storage devices, etc.).
