This is my direct client opening for *DB System Architect - New York,
NY.*This is a long - term contract position. The Hourly rate is
$60/hr.
Candidates need to interview in person and should be in the NY area.
*Mandatory Skills/Experience *
The candidate should have demonstrated broad technical knowledge of system
architectures and strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle
and methodologies. * *
The candidate must have at least 4 years experience with information
management technologies such as data warehousing, data federation, business
intelligence, and application portals.*

Strong knowledge of SOA design patterns and web architectures is required.*
*
Candidate must have experience with the following: Data Services (i.e.
MetaMatrix, BEA Data Service, etc.), Oracle 9.x or higher, with IBM
Websphere message broker and MQ Series, J2EE, Web Services, Integration,
Security, Rules Engines (Blaze, or other), design and knowledge of SOA,
industry standards required for the position.*

The candidate will have strong communication skills – both verbal and
written.* *
A proven background in the implementation and integration of large scale and
complex systems is a must.*
*
Use of UML and ERD modeling tools is a plus as well as knowledge of Java.
Excellent oral and writing skills *

4 years minimum in a system architect role *
*
4 years playing a large role in the implementation of Enterprise Java J2EE
systems
Master degree in computer science or mathematics is the minimum, PH.D is
prefer
Experience architecting complex large scale systems incorporating packaged
and custom applications
Must have experience in architecting Enterprise application

Content management experience *

Experience of using UML diagram *

Experience of the relational database *

iWay experience / knowledge *
