Detailed Description: • Create applications from detailed specifications using specified programming language(s) • Code, test, debug, document and maintain programs • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Front end development (GUI interfaces) utilizing ODBC to connect to any Open Architecture RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) – such as Oracle and Sybase • 2-5 yrs of VBA development experience in Excel o Strong Understanding of Excel Functions and How to use them in development o ADO/ Database Integration (Both Read and Write to Database) o Used of Excel Ranges in Development The selected candidate is required to work in an adhoc reporting environment, where initiative, drive and the desire to excel are essential. The candidate must be capable of working under tight time lines and with minimal supervision, either alone or in a team environment. Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing Information Technology support experience, and an in depth knowledge of vendor supplied Rx data is a plus. Solid communication skills are essential. Strong knowledge of SAS, UNIX, and Oracle is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Access,etc.) is required. Experience on an infrastructure project.
