Test ETL jobs for accuracy and troubleshoot ETL issues including poor performance, bad data etc. Provide controlled implementation of changes to the ETL scheduler and to generate and optimize ETL jobs. Demonstrate experience documenting and working through issues as part of a team. The right individuals for these roles will need to have strong SQL skills. You should be able to look at jobs being written in *Datastage*, compare them to the requirements and analyze the performance of the job from a systems perspective. We are not looking for people who "just know the tool" but who understand the logic for the jobs they are writing. Requires 4+ years in an enterprise data warehouse environment designing and developing ETL components and reports. You must have strong working knowledge of SQL and Oracle and have ample experience writing SQL statements and analyzing SQL performance as it relates to Ascential *Datastage*. Must have solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional, relational and OLAP data modeling. Strong analytical skills required.
