Role:Web Infrastructure and System Administrator Duration: The project goes for 1 year minimum. Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Start Date: With in week Pay Rate: 5-7 lakhs per annum depends on experience. * *Role: SAN Storage Administrator II General Requirements: * · Configuring and deploying in production disk storage and SAN switch devices. · Provisioning of disk storage resources (including zoning of SAN switches) like disk space, volumes, switch ports and others through Systems Changes in accordance with documented SOPs (Standard Operational Procedures). · Installation and maintenance of Disk Storage related software like EMC SRDF, Timefinder, LUN masking, Symmetrix CLI (including Symconfigure), and ECC. · Provide continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and first level maintenance of the various systems and associated peripherals. This also includes adequate follow up on Problem Resolution tracking using the Remedy tool. · Participate in the "On Call" weekly shift supporting off hours and weekend activity. · Pro-actively review and monitor service indicators in order to insure adherence to agreed upon service levels. · Interact with software and hardware maintenance providers in enforcing adequate levels of support to the installed inventory. · Provide support to other technical staff in performing disk space management, baseline security administration, testing of system features and disk storage administration activities. · Produce and maintain appropriate documentation and charts describing hardware setups, diagrams, operational procedures and overall inventory. · Produce weekly reports of activities and operational status. · Engage in capacity planning and monitoring usage reports. Recommend alternatives to infrastructure reconfiguration including replacement or addition of capacity. · Monitor and review use of systems for violations of Bank access control policies. · Report and respond to critical security events and take corrective measures per defined security incident management processes. · Follow and comply with WDBK’s IMS and ISMS policies, processes and procedures (ISO20000 and ISO24001). · Participate in audits, as needed, producing necessary documentation, reports and explanations. Implement corrective and preventive action plans approved by unit managers. * Specific Requirements: * · Relevant experience with disk storage and SAN operating environment consisting of EMC technologies (DMX, Clarion, Centera and Symmetrix) and Brocade technologies (2800, 3800, 3900 and Director level). · Intimacy with UNIX, Windows and Linux hardware and software configurations; strong connectivity experience with multipathing to storage concepts and technologies. · Relevant experience supporting Highly Available configurations based on Veritas and IBM clustering technologies. · Relevant experience in environments supporting Databases (Oracle and Sybase), including intimacy with DB concepts and operations. · At least 4 years of experience managing mission critical disk storage systems with proven involvement in operations requiring for stringent uptime service levels. · Team player with strong technical and user support skills. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Able to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audience (management, users, vendor, and technical staff). · Certifications on EMC or Brocade technologies as well as any OS or related utilities. -- Thanks and Regards Prabhu Kamble Levanture Inc, Direct: 040-66832234, 040-66468246 [email protected] | www.levanture.com My LinkedIn profile is at: http://www.linkedin.com/in/prabhumandhar IM: prabhumandhar Gtalk: prabhumandhar Note: We respect your Online Privacy.
