Location : NYC Duration : 6 Months Rate : $40/hr Not Negotiable Core and Technical Competencies: 6+ Years of experience with Oracle and SQL 2000 The candidate will also be responsible for implementing tools such as Oracle Grid Control / OEM and ESM and remediation of issues when risk compliance is not met. Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, monitoring of standards and procedures, access methods and time, validation checks, organization and statistical methods. Responsible for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and backup and recovery. Must have experience analyzing, developing, running tests and implementing database designs in support of corporate and client area technology requirements. Executes database software installation, database creations/configurations and loads. Candidate will be responsible for design, testing, implementation and support of production and non-production database systems. The candidate will work with developers, designers and other systems staff members to create and implement database solutions. Provide troubleshooting support and problem resolution support.
