Please Reply to [email protected] Position : SharePoint Workflow Analyst Location : Chicago IL Duration : 3 + Months Job Duties: 20% o Participates in meetings with project managers, technical support, and clients to identify and specify system requirements and processes. o Assists in providing alternative solutions and recommending the best solution based upon fact discovery and management. o Assists in the preparation of detailed specifications for programs to be written and in the analysis and revision of existing logic difficulties and documentation. o Uses specialized skills and technical expertise to assist users in resolving a system problem, or escalates problem to a more experienced systems analyst in accordance with service level agreements. 70% o Work with users to define requirements. o Ensuring optimal use of the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) product to address the needs and challenges of the business . o Understand the business problems and ensure solutions that adheres to best practices. . o Provide guidance and solution strategies to the development team that best utilizes the SharePoint feature-sets as they pertain to the business requirements. . o Write technical specifications for developers. o Create Mockups, Wireframes, and Prototypes. o Code and Configure solutions, as necessary. o Facilitate internal IT communication by ensuring that business requirements are being translated to system requirements and infrastructure requirements which can be consumed by the development team. . 10% Training and reading on compliance and company policies and standards. Specialized/Practical Knowledge: *A minimum of 3 years in .Net development in a Sharepoint environment. Must have completed at least one full lifecycle major project. *A minimum of 3 years building/Implementing Custom SharePoint Workflows (both SharePoint Designer based workflows and custom Workflow Foundation workflows) *Solid understanding of ASP.NET * Experience developing Unit Testing scripts for two workflow projects using InfoPath * Working knowledge of C#, XML/XSLT * Administration, configuration and customization of SharePoint including developing and implementing custom and third-party Web Parts * Building SharePoint Features and Solutions * Creating custom site definitions * Site Branding * Developing event handlers * Creating list and content type definitions * Web Part and User Control Development * Using the OOB SharePoint Web Services * Using the Business Data Catalog is a plus * InfoPath Forms development and InfoPath Form Services configuration * Knowledge of SharePoint Designer Management Skill: * Strong interpersonal, client service, oral, and written communications, organizational, and task management skills. * Assists with program/process administrations Interaction: * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Team player and works well with all levels of management. * Cross-functional interaction.
