Please Reply to [email protected] Position : Senior SAP BI Application Developer Location : Folsom, CA Duration : 6 Months Project Description: IT SAP Core Engineering; CCPRe (Corporate Commit Process Re-engineering) involves re-engineering existing legacy systems + legacy SAP R/3 environments at Intel and Replatforming into a SAP Netweaver environment. The business reasoning for this project is to improve Intel's responsiveness to customer orders. Daily Responsibilities: Need a SAP BI expert to do the following (a) Understand requirements, enable data migration from SCM to BI (b) Coach and mentor other team members so they can move from Basic to Advanced level of XI expertise. (c) Data model in BI the SCM data. Necessary Skills (Must Have): Strong prior BI implementation experience is critical. Ability to listen, comprehend and effectively communicate to both project team and customers. Atleast 2 years of BI hands-on experience is a must; this is for a Mid-Senior level person. a) Data model design, cube/object design etc. to make it scalable and reusable (b) BEX queries (c) Running reports from Micro strategy or other 3rd party reporting tool by pulling data directly from BI. (d) Sending data to other non SAP systems such as EDW (Tera Data warehouse) (e) Performance Tuning. Knowledge of SAP SCM and CRM business suites. Years of Experience & Expertise Level: At least 2 years of BI (3.0 and above) actual development/implementation experience is a must; this is for a Mid-Senior level person.
