Specifically, they are looking for candidates who have experience working with scalability issues in a bigger enterprise environment. They should have experience leading a project from Point A to Point B. While the requirement says that they are looking for 5 years of experience, realistically, they are looking for someone with 7-10 years of experience, preferably in a Lead role. The Product Developer is responsible for the advancement in development, which is achieved through mastery and broad application of technology, through an ever increasing span of influence, and through greater impact across a wide range of product solutions and business lines. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: . Develops and tests product code according to CLIENT quality standards . Maintains knowledge of product environments and applicable software technologies . Provides complete documentation in the form of commented code, problem status information, and design documents . Performs thorough problem analysis that results in resolution of product-related problems according to CLIENT support standards . Carries out thorough unit testing; supports systems and integration testing as required to provide a quality product . Assists in marketing of CLIENT products as required by PM&D management . Provides input to the Technical Writers for all product documentation . Defines the functional specification of program modules ensuring functionality, quality and ease of maintainability . Accurately estimates the size and scope of the development effort as measured by the product delivery schedule SKILLS: . At least 5 years in a similar role . Bachelor's Degree . Minimum of 5 years experience programming in C/C++ . Experience programming against Windows API is required . Experience working with Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) technologies is required . Experience working with Active Directory and LDAP is required . Experience programming against the WMI and ADSI APIs is desirable .
