Minimum Requirements We will only accept candidates who have 5+ years of recent experience in a COBOLbased environment, with extensive experience in software development, programming, and systems analysis and design for business applications utilizing z/OS COBOL, DB2, and RM/COBOL-85 for DOS. Job description Application Enhancement and Maintenance • Define and document requirements for SSIS programs • Prepare technical design documents • Develop Ryan McFarland (RM-COBOL-85 for DOS) programs based on approved specifications • Develop z/OS COBOL/DB2 programs based on approved specifications • Develop Windows batch scripts based on approved specifications • Research and resolve production issues as they arise • Update reference tables and files • Prepare release notes • Build and roll out new releases to school-based file servers. • Conduct data value testing as required • Conduct program walkthroughs with other team members as required • Conduct walkthrough of test results for approval of data loaded as required • Develop appropriate documentation and transfer knowledge to LAUSD personnel III.
