As a member of a small advanced software team, candidates will be challenged to implement, debug, and test components of system software. This system software is a suite of Linux-based applications that is used to manage a massively parallel computer system. Scope: Design, implement, test and debug a highly-reliable distributed system. - Solid experience with multithreading, Pthreads in particular. - Familiarity with BSD sockets API or distributed systems. - Familiarity with reliable and scalable software design. - Experience with parallel file systems.
