*Description *

*The role of the Senior Data Analyst will be to prepare requirements for the
development of processes related to the sourcing, transformation, storage,
and provision of external data for the purpose of managing credit losses. It
requires the ability to synthesize large amounts of moderately complex to
complex data from multiple external data providers to integrate and load
into Fannie Mae infrastructure. Strong knowledge of mortgage data and
processes and the secondary mortgage market are important to the success of
this position. This position requires a person who is able to work with
minimal supervision and is able to manage multiple project assignments and
competing priorities. Individual must have strong communication skills and
work to develop strong relationships with peers, internal and external
customers and IT counterparts. *

*This position will be responsible for the following: *

* *

*• Developing requirements for the procurement and integration of external
data, serving as business lead for one or more sub-projects, and ensuring
synchronization with other simultaneous sub projects. *

*• Creating source to target mappings. *

*• Working closely with business partners to understand business processes
and gather and define effective and accurate business requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that requirements meet the needs of external and
internal users. *

*• Analyzing incoming data submissions from multiple sources. *

*• Work may involve the preparation and/or review of technical
specifications. *

*• Establishing and monitoring project plans, milestones, and deliverables;
scheduling and facilitating meetings; and conducting requirements reviews. *

*• Developing metrics and establishing benchmarks for evaluating success. *

*• Assist with preparation of LOE for change requests *

*• Participate in Requirements Reviews, Development Reviews, and Test Plan
Reviews *

*• Participate in Testing for Reference data (new and updates) *

*• Prepare and deliver Reference data and updates needed for static
reference tables (planned and ad hoc changes) *

*• Participate in preparation and maintenance of Architecture documents *

*• Participate in preparation and maintenance of lifecycle procedures
(ELSIF) *

*• Manage and maintain metadata for the HMP Data Mart and ODS *

*• Support ad hoc requests as needed *

*• Ensure that CDD naming conventions and standard definitions are being
used on all new work *

*• Maintain/manage quality metrics *
