They are the main production support center.* *They work in a very open office environment, and Team Environment* * * *Technical Experience needed: * * * *NetBackup, and automation of NetBackup * *UNIX * *Partitioning and Paralleling* *Patch updates* *Any situations involved with massive updates that require full attention possibly overnight. * *Terminal Release* *Standby/Data Guard Instances* * * *Work description: *** * * *This position is responsible for providing general Oracle database administration, application tuning, database security and production support within the DBA group. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: installation, upgrade, and maintenance of the Oracle databases; planning and execution of database backup and recovery; database tuning for performance and stability; database security implementation and monitoring. This position participates in an on-call rotation with other DBA’s to provide 24/7 coverage for the Oracle environment.
