Position : SQL developer/QA Analyst Duration: 6+ months Location: Owings Mills, MD This position is for a *Database expert with Testing Knowledge* In particular the candidate must have: Database skills • Strong knowledge of *SQL and PL/SQL* • Must have worked as a *Database developer / database analyst* in the past • *Extremely strong in database concepts* • Must be able to write very complex queries at short notice, analyze existing ones and debug • Must be able to look issues from various angles of database • *Experience with Data migration* in complex environment • *Some DBA experience* will be beneficial Performance Testing • Exposure with *performance tuning related to database* • Knowledge of *performance testing, stress testing* • Test the system for performance • Exposure with any of the performance tools like *LoadRunner* Testing Skills • Expertise in developing and executing formal test plans • Test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation • Follows up on open defects to closure.
