Certify installation and configuration on development server has been done correctly and integration with other InfoSphere installed components (i.e. DataStage, QualityStage, Information Analyzer) is complete. If not done correctly then redo installation and configuration. 2. Configure security – user management – with Active Directory and InfoSphere roles. 3. Help GIP architect/s identify and document best practices, standards, and standard operating procedures (e.g. change control, versioning). 4. Capture Cognos BI reports meta data in MDWB. Determine a method of automating this process. 5. Install and configure MetaBroker/s on development server. 6. Create two MetaBroker interface examples: a. Import from Sybase PowerDesigner 12.5 physical data model b. Export to Cognos 8 BI 8.3 Framework Manager project. 7. Determine if metadata can be shared with MS Sharepoint, IBM WebSphere EAI, and select non-IBM meta data sources (e.g. JDE E1). 8. Implement backup and recovery mechanism. 9. Demonstrate mapping of technical metadata with business terms in Business Glossary. 10. Produce a set of templates for Impact Analysis and Data Lineage reports. 11. Recommend on how GIP architects can integrate InfoSphere metadata with master data. 12.
