Description: The end client is a large distrubution center and they are in the the initial start up and discovery phaze of Oracle Mfg implmentation, They are are looking for an Architecht to help with the discovery and the infrastrcuture and design development of the application. Define and design installation and upgrades plan for Oracle Retail applications, Database server, Application server, Oracle Database, Operating System, LPARs. *Define technical requirements for deploying multiple environments with Oracle Retail applications related to SBX(Sandbox), DEV, SYS, INTG, PERF, UAT, PROD and Post PROD.** * Define security consideration for all the environments - in terms of IDs (UID), Groups (GID), file permissions, directory permissions, directory structures for application and database servers and profiles settings. Security management for the integration of various applications in regards to network and firewalls. Define high-availability, capacity planning, monitoring requirements, and version control, and backup & disaster recovery solutions.
