These applications include the **traffic and scheduling system, content management system, and other broadcast engineering software applications**. Looking for someone with expertise in **test automation using industry standard test tools**. Duties include **requirements analysis to write test plans **and **detailed test procedures, executing tests, validating requirements, and documenting test results.** Also responsible for identifying, analyzing, and documenting software defects, and working with the software development team to troubleshoot and resolve any software issues. Participates actively in risk analysis of the test project. * * * *Qualifications:* ** A BS degree in computer science or related engineering field is required. *** 3 to 5 years practical experience in software development** and/or **software test/quality assurance engineering**. * Working knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design methodologies, multi-tiered client-server architecture, and multi-threaded software applications running on a **UNIX and/or LINUX environment**. * Experience developing and executing **automated test scripts using Mercury Quick Test Professional (QTP),** as well as Web **services test experience using SoapUI** and other similar test tools, is also desired. * **Experience developing software applications** using **Java, C/C++, Java, SQL, JSP, DHTML and XML is preferred**.
