CA BI is a Siebel/Oracle Analytics production environment currently serving the CA field in US, Europe, APAC, Japan and EM. The team works in tight collaboration with CA Finance, and in planning with CA Operations for US/Canada and Europe theatres and CA BI to provide a global solutionfor Services Metrics that will enable top line growth, increased productivity and drive customer satisfaction. The Business/IT candidate will be responsible for working with sales operations and functional operations and IT teams in the development of requirements across broad areas of business management. Knowledge of Cisco internal processes will be valuable for analysis of potential data sources, potential technical solutions and adherence to Cisco-standards that are both internal and external to CA. *Responsibilities* Ø BI and Data warehousing Architecture and Design Ø Conceptual Design Doc Ø Current State Analysis (e.g., data flow diagrams, business problem statements, cost-benefit analysis, and business process flow diagrams) Ø Solution Proposal (e.g., FRD, mock-ups, needs analysis, conceptual design doc, business process flow diagrams, cost-benefit analysis, and business impact analysis) Ø Leadership and Guidance in resolving Application and Service Support Issues *Foundational * Ø Meeting Documentation for tech lead mtgs (e.g., action/to-do lists, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes) Ø PLC Documentation (e.g., use-cases, business cases, conceptual design doc, IT value cases, risk analysis, stakeholder analysis, test plans, and testing results) Ø Status and Tracking Documentation (e.g., progress reports, team updates, status requests, and resolved issues lists) *Skills Required* Ø Analysis Expertise Ø Data Analysis Ø Design Concepts Ø IT Analysis/ Analytical Thinking Ø Process Knowledge *Technical Expertise* Ø Must have: Business Intelligence platforms, Siebel/Oracle Analytics, Informatica, ETL Tools, Teradata Ø Some knowledge of Business Objects, Excel macros, RDBMS knowledge, SQL development, Service Oriented Architecture. Ø Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented design principles. Knowledge of AppServers, other J2EE technologies. Ø Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Web site design, XML.
