Citrix Admin with MSI Packaging & Application Streaming Experience
Location: Providence, RI
Duration: 6 months or longer
Start Date: Immediate
Our client is looking for a Citrix resource to work at a client site in
Rhode Island. The successful candidate will support a fairly large migration
from a Citrix 3.0 environment to 4.5. This person will be working under the
leadership of our client's consultant in a team of six engineers and will
perform a variety of tasks.
Job Duties:
1. Day-to-day routine administration of the Citrix server farm -
Add/modify/delete accounts, patching, etc.
2. Installation and configuration of new servers
3. Migration of applications using either MSI packaging technology or
"Streaming" technology
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Hands-on, current experience with MSI and Streaming technologies
2. Basic Windows Server and Active Directory administration
3. Citrix administration
4. Current knowledge of Citrix 4.0/5.0 XenApp differences - with regard to
Streaming
5. Application Streaming technology and direct experience performing
installations using Profiler with Publishing
6. Citrix Installation Manager or similar technology to deploy applications
to Citrix servers
7. Able to work alone and manage time when given project tasks
8. Understand core components and requirements within Citrix Farm
deployments
9. Good communication skills
10. Team player
