Develops ad-hoc data applications that require extensive data analysis of pharmacy, medical and outcomes data, which will drive strategic direction evaluating health risk exposure, and drivers of outcomes both clinically and financially. Designs and conducts large claims based analyses to evaluate healthcare trends and the value of health care interventions, including pharmaceuticals and medical management programs. ** ** ** ** ** Propose, design and execute a wide variety of ad-hoc healthcare analytic projects with extensive analytic rigor. Use integrated pharmacy and medical databases to understand healthcare disparities, trends, cost-effectiveness, healthcare systems cost impact, and health related outcomes. Initiate and facilitate the development of ad-hoc claims-based analyses to enhance the value of with innovative approaches, which benefit Plans, and support the value of the Blues System. Develop analytic strategies for business interpretation, and supports Plan-based market and medical consultants with analytic approaches. ** Ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of analysis.
