Responsibilities: The position involves developing, unit testing, and integrating infrastructure technologies used to support the client's SOA and EDA projects. The consultant will work closely with the application team to verify the feasibility of different designs and implementations, produce tests to verify feasibility, and deliver production code. Work with the application team to understand technology and business requirements Translate requirements into working code Analyze multiple technology approaches and products Use company-accepted best-practices in development Deliver high-quality components under aggressive timelines Verify code correctness with unit tests Requirements 5+ years of software development experience 5+ years of Java experience with trading systems experience 3+ years of server-side Java experience Must have XML-based technologies, such as XML Beans and JAXB Must have experience with middleware protocols such as JMS, SOAP, REST, and RMI and in developing distributed applications, integrating disparate technologies Must have experience in developing highly scalable, multi-threaded applications, using database technologies Must have experience with Spring and Hibernate and caching technologies.
