Primary Skill: Technology Configuration and Deployment
*Years Experience: 2-3 Years The Configuration and Support Analyst is responsible for the configuration and support of the NADC client specific configurations within the Strategic Enterprise Toolset (SET). SET provides monitoring, alerting, correlation, configuration management, provisioning and automation services for our clients. It is based on a BMC Event Management console and BMC performance management for Apps and Infrastructure with SMARTs, and Voyence supporting the network implementations. All of this being integrated into BMC's service management tools (ITSM) based on Remedy and the Atrium CMDB. Key Responsibilities: Work with the tools lead to perform client enablement configuring alerting and monitoring across the portfolio of tools. Support client configurations once in the SET environment with changes and incidents/problems related to the client specific toolset configurations. Implement Opalis automation tool to improve service uptime. Basic Qualifications: 1. 3 years in the IT field 2. 2 years supporting and deploying configurations in the Operational Support Environment or enterprise tools environment. 3. Either : a. 2 Years of BMC Patrol and Performance Manager configuration experience And/Or b. 2 years of EMC SMARTS configuration and roll out experience 4. Or 2 years of enterprise tools systems experience 5. Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience Additional Preferred Skill Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision Moderate knowledge and working experience with Windows, Unix, SQL and Oracle Experience working with global and off-shore teams.
