*Our Client is in need of "DATA ANALYST WITH MORTGAGE INDUSTRY EXP* with the following skills. This is a 12 months+ Contract position.* This is a contractual opportunity, which is PERFECT for DATA ANALYST or BUSINESS ANALYST WITH MORTGAGE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE * BUSINESS ANALYST/DATA ANALYST WITH MORTGAGE INDUSTRY EXP* Role: Data Analyst with Mortgage Industry experience Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 6 months No of Positions: 5 Sr. Associate Analyzes complex data structures to generate useful business insights. Develops reporting to monitor business critical results. Works with internal partners on statistics-related projects. Supports leadership team with data consultation, data gathering, and data analysis. May assist entry-level DATA ANALYSTs with scripting and Capital One data structures. Responsibilities: 1. Quantitative and qualitative analysis 2. Communicate with business 3. customers to establish data requirements 4. Create tools or queries to obtain data from central data repository for the purposes of reporting and analysis 5. Present final analysis to customers 6. Participate on project teams Required skills: 1. Strong analytical skills 2. Strong problem-solving skills 3. Experience with mortgage and servicing data 4. Ability to work independently and accurately 5. Ability to manage large and complex data sets 6. Ability to create meaningful management reports from various sources 7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely results 8. Acquire, analyze, and assess the integrity and consistency of data for use in models/research to determine optimal loss mitigation outcomes for serviced mortgages (modification versus short-sale, vs. foreclosure, plus modification terms, etc.), and to determine optimal use of loss mitigation and collection resources (call-center utilization, loan risk scoring, etc.) 9. Extract, clean and format data. Research internal and external data sources to determine appropriate attributes to incorporate into modeling/reporting. 10. Conceptualize and produce reporting that facilitates clear and complete communication of the performance of loss mitigation and risk management models, systems, tools, and policies. 11. Reporting will include a variety of data sources and access methods. 12. Present reports to senior management, analyze report output and make business recommendations.
