The candidate must have 5+ years experience designing, deploying and operationally supporting Sun Directory Server 5.x and 6.x, Hands on experience upgrading from Directory Server 5.x to 6.x a must. Candidate needs to demonstrate a detailed understanding of Replication strategies. The candidate must have experience working with Multi-Master Environments with replication between multiple data centers. An understanding and hands on experience LDAP Schema Management is required. The candidate must have excellent Written and Oral communication skills. The candidate will be required to document and explain to the team design decisions and implementation plans The Candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and tuning of the directory environments. The position will be required to work with the application development team to analyze the Directory environments and improve the performance and reliability of the system. Creating a process for updating and patching of the environment will be required. The candidate will be required to develop installation and configuration documentations using best practice guidelines and policies. Candidate will be required to support production issues. Troubleshooting, Monitoring and notification system management is also required. Requirements: -5 years minimum of SUN Directory Server including installation, trouble shooting, maintenance/upgrade strategies, and performance tuning. -Knowledge of Multi-Master Replication. -Knowledge of Multi Data Center Replication. -Knowledge of LDAP over SSL -Knowledge of Solaris Authentication against LDAP -Solaris OS experience is required. -Must have working knowledge of CA SiteMinder, F5 load balancers, firewalls, and proxies. -Must be able to multitask, work independently as well as in a team, and have excellent documentation skills. -Knowledge of Integration with Sun Identity Manager is a plus.
