Responsible for writing moderate to complex design specifications. · Translating business and technical requirements into detailed design specifications for application code and modules. · Developing software application modules using disciplined software development processes. · Provides assistance in researching new and emerging technologies. Works with vendors to understand technology. Experience should include architecture and design responsibilities *Professional Requirements*: (All skills are very important) · Requires in-depth experience and understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 databases- Critical · Understanding of database architecture, design, development and administration on Microsoft SQL Server / Windows platform. - Critical · Hands on experience with designing scalability database solutions and performance improvements- Critical · Experienced in Data Modeling, logical and physical database design, performance tuning of existing database applications and design of Backup and Recovery procedures. – Critical · **SQL CLR (Common Language Run time- Nice to have · Has developed DTS packages and scheduled database tasks. · Good understanding of Windows Server 2003.
