Banking obviously preferred but not necessary. Excellent communication skills is a necessity. On call responsibilities will be once every 5 weeks (this could change). No training of peers is required, this is a team member, not leadership.* ** *What version of AIX and what Pseries servers are you supporting? AIX 5.3, p5 570, p5 520, p6 570 * *Do you need scripting experience if so what? Scripting experience a plus… normal scripting languages – ksh, bash, etc. * *Do you need HAMCP and if so what version are you running? Not required. We are running 5.4.1.1 * *Any experience with Backups? I know you said other departments handles it but do you prefer, Tivoli, Veritas, etc Handled by another team? They use veritas. Experience with NIM and MKSYSB a plus. * *Do you need virtual experience and experience with VIO servers? Not required. Real world experience with VIO servers and SEA and VSCSI a major plus. * *Do you need cloning, clustering, experience? Yes with kickstart, nim, oracle RAC, hacmp, ASM, mksysb are a good enough buzz words. * *What tools are you guys using for monitoring?
