*Job Description:*
- 8-10+ years of experience.
- Demonstrates expertise in a variety of data modeling concepts,
practices, and procedures for OLTP and Data Warehouse/Data Analytics.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish
goals within the project timeframes.
- Creates a variety of Data Models:
- Conceptual Data Model.
- Logical Data Model.
- Preliminary Physical Data Model.
- Participates in design meetings, interpreting business needs into data
model requirements.
- Ability to discern between valuable information and useless information
requirements – and the ability to explain the difference to the business
users.
- Applies the Client Data Architecture standards and practices to all
data model deliverables.
- Participates in peer reviews of data model deliverables.
- Ability to work via teleconferences – good verbal and written
communication skills.
*Additional Preferences:*
- Health information and concepts knowledge is very beneficial
- Experienced with PowerDesigner modeling software
*Project Activities:*
- Develop logical data model (LDM)
- Develop all data models (logical, physical, staging, etc.)
- Provide data model support to Business Systems Analysts as they
complete source to target mappings and document ETL and Transformation
rules.
- Document data privacy rules.
- Provide subject matter expertise in reflecting data quality
requirements within the data models.
- Using established practices, ensure that the physical model structures
support all the business data relationships.
