Role: PERL Developer Duration:12months, Location: Columbus, OH ( Prefer locals - ) *We need PERL developers for this position, not (for example) a “.Net developer who knows Perl”. * *Requirements: * Perl DBI (Class::DBI, Class::DBIx and any other object oriented Perl experience would be nice to have) Perl scripting SQL querying Some work with XML and CSV (or Excel flat files) with in PERL Oracle Development background (made it clear that Perl is #1, Oracle Dev #2) Database stored procedures (PL/SQL experience in Oracle preferred) Unix/Linux experience. Unix/Linux shell scripting with bash or ksh Ideals (would like AT LEAST 1 of these, but not required): Storage familiarity – gathering configuration data using PERL from SAN switches. SAN experience (Cisco and Brocade SAN switches, Hitachi and EMC SAN Arrays) Backup experience (NetBackup is the primary backup system.
