*Location: Pittsburg, PA* *Duratioon: 6 months* *Prefer locals or someone nearer to PA* *Responsibilities:* - Maintain all aspects of the administration of web applications in internal development, test and live production systems. - Be the first and last level of support for both internal and external customers. - Responsible for day-to-day operation of web/J2EE systems and long term project planning. - Handle pressure of short turnaround deadlines, 24X7 support for customer systems. - Act as administrative liaison with customers on web systems. (Executive and technical). *Required Experience* - Experience (3+ years) administering, deploying and tuning Oracle (BEA) WebLogic 9.x/10.x in a Unix/Linux environment. - Experience (3+ years) administering, deploying and working with JBoss. - Experience (3+ years) administering, deploying and tuning Apache HTTP in a Unix/Linux environment. - Automation of common administrative functions through various scripting languages. (i.e. Non-console: start, stop, configuration scripts, etc) - High availability clustering and domain configuration. - Proficient experience with web-related infrastructure and networking. (i.e. load balancers, content switching) - Web authentication and authorization integration with J2EE application servers. - Strong problem solving and analysis skills. - Experience configuring and tuning Oracle (BEA) JRockit JVM/Sun JVM. - OS tuning in web environments. - Ability to work side-by-side with application developers to design, deploy and resolve issues. - Ability to create capacity planning specifications for new projects and systems. *Beneficial Experience* - Experience with Oracle (BEA) WebLogic 7/8, JBoss AS, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat. - Administration of software in Red Hat Linux configurations. - J2EE development and deployment experience in HA environments. - Performance and failover testing with 3rd party tools. - Experience with CA Siteminder administration and integration. - Hardware and software load balancing. - Web firewall technologies. -- Thanks & Regards, Abhi [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
