Type of position: Contract Duration: 24+ MONTHS Location: New York, NY Location: Roseland, NJ MUST HAVE * Excellent communications skills * Must be available during EST business hours * Must have an infrastructure background MUST HAVE: INFRASTRUCTURE experience MUST. Server / Admin type but More as a *BA*, experience with Connectivity is a good plus. Provide mapping documentation tracking server instances to new Client instances based on hardware or virtual machines and associated remediation, including items such as: App information, Server Names, IP addressing, Clustering, SAN/NAS/Local Storage information, client share mappings, Functional/Service/Application accounts, Entitlements feeds, CAP requirements/installations. Should have an infrastructure background and will gather and analyze technical and business requirements and act as a liaison between the business users and technology in support of compliance initiatives. The individual must have a good understanding of both business and technology requirements and are able to explain the business needs to the technologist and can *translate* technological terms and concepts to the business users/clients. Responsibilities also include working under the direction of the Technical leads in conjunction with the PMO to produce needed technical documentation and providing ad hoc management reporting in order to satisfy compliance initiatives. The individual should have a strong technical background in Wintel architecture and Microsoft components such as SQL Server.
