Please reply to *[email protected]*. * Business Intelligence Solution Specialist* *Length - 6months plus * Business Intelligence Solution Specialist that can assist with pre-sales initiatives and Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse Vision and Roadmap projects as well as lead medium-large scale implementations and package selections. Preferred Geographic Locations: Houston, Texas or California although travel will be involved for this role to various parts of the country. *Essential Skills Include:* * Experience and/or knowledge of multiple BI/DW platforms (Microsoft, Oracle, Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Informatica, etc.) *Led or participated in medium-large scale BI/DW deployments.* * Understands how to calculate business value of BI projects. * Excellent documentation and communication skills (Portfolio samples may be required from potential candidates.) * Understands and can communicate the BI/DW value of - data stewardship, metadata management, data governance, risk assessment, and project management. * Can understand, compare/contrast and talk about the following - Data Quality, ETL, cubes, dimensional modeling, Oracle BI (OBIEE, Seibel, Hyperion), Microsoft BI (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Performance Point, Proclarity), Cognos, Business Objects, and Informatica. * Understands Performance Management, planning, and continuous improvement. * Have a record of success at past engagements or work assignments. * Comfortable talking to senior level management of clients and creating, assembling, coordinating, and presenting C-level presentations. * Candidates will have a minimum of 7 years experience in the IT industry and have expert knowledge of multiple platforms and database solutions. * Experience working for one of the larger global consulting services company for 5+ years * Pre-sales experience with large scale global projects * Sales "DNA" profile * Experience with the RFI, RFP, and proposal phase of sales *Requirements* * 7-10 years IT experience * Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, or IT related field * Technical Certifications preferred -- Sindhu.
